How to properly bathe your pet

Brush your pet

Before taking a bath, carefully brush the whole body of the pet again, one side is to avoid entanglement and combing waste hair, the second is to check whether the dog has trauma.

Confirm that the water temperature

Before taking a bath, you should adjust the water temperature first, and then put your pet into the water. The inappropriate water temperature will make them frightened, which will cause the psychological shadow of being afraid of taking a bath.  The water temperature suitable for pets is slightly higher than that for humans.

Rinse your pet

When bathing pets, owners should turn down the water flow and cover the shower head with their hands.  Let the water run through your fingers and stick to your pet's body, soaking the hair and making it feel much gentler for your pet.

Apply pet detergent

Rub the detergent into a lather, then gently scratch your pet's body and apply the bubbles evenly to your pet's hair.  But be careful to avoid the face, so that the foam does not get into the eyes or mouth and nose.

Wipe

Most pets will dry themselves, and then the owner with a large towel, with pressure drying, which can reduce the time to dry.  At this time also want to dry the moisture of ears, nose, eyes.

Blow dry hair

This is a very necessary step, otherwise pets tend to get hairballs.  When blow-drying fur around your face, keep the air volume low and away from your pet by about 10 centimeters to avoid spooking your pet. Do not blow the air directly into your pet's face.  Once blow-dry completely, brush again.
